Platinum League

Sports.

Platinum League is a digital platform for professional gymnastics competitions. Gymnasts perform in their local gyms and jury rates from the other side of the world.
Instead of traveling to the location, gymnasts can now stream their exercise and compete on an international level from any location they choose.
The exercises are performed at a competition standard within a provided time slot. Just like a traditional competition.

Information.

Technology: Swift
Third-Party Libraries:
– Snap Kit (Framework for Constraints – UI)
– Alamofire

Features.

  • Stream, compete, repeat.
  • Once you fill in all the information, you need to read and accept the terms of use. In this step, you will also nominate an FIG Brevet judge of your choice. A single judge can enroll in more than one discipline. After you’ve received a confirmation for your participation, you will be listed on the official timetable.
  • Platinum League competitors perform in groups of 3 athletes of their respective disciplines. Here is how that works:
    – You need a team.
    – Have two persons with you – one to operate the camera and one to keep your Unique Gymnast Code visible at all times.
    – Recording, upload, and your score are all done via app.
    – You will receive your UGC 3 mins before start time. Write it down on a white piece of paper in capital letters using a black marker.
    – Start your exercise.
    – Go to start position, wait for your mark and take it away.
    – Wait for your results.
  •  Your score will be posted within 15 minutes. Once it is available, you have a 3-minute window to inquire about your Difficulty score and using only your app.
